Walking in Norfolk

Autumn Trees

Norfolk is all about the great outdoors, perfect for serious hiking or a more leisurely stroll. We are close to several of Norfolk’s long distance paths, including the Coastal path from Hunstanton to Sea Palling, now open along its 63 mile length with some truly stunning scenery. Walk one way and catch the Coasthopper bus back to your starting point, stopping for lunch in one of our recommended cafes or pubs along the way.

There’s also the Peddars Way and Weavers Way, ancient footpaths crossing the county. Take the steam train from Weybourne to Sheringham and walk back along the cliffs – a great day out for everyone. In the laundry/tourist information room we provide details of shorter and more local routes as well as providing plenty of OS Explorer maps to borrow.

Closer to home here at Wood Farm we have set grass margins around some of our fields so there will be a circular walk around the farm, ideal for joggers and early morning dog exercising.
